This stunning Aerial Heart is an ideal performance centrepiece. Its unique yet comfy shape will bring character to your show or themed performance.

An Aerial Heart is a fantastic decorative aerial apparatus for an event. Plus, it’s a functional performance piece.

Compared to a standard Aerial Hoop, the extra space in a Heart Hoop opens new possibilities for doubles performances. The design is tabless, too, giving you flexibility in rigging.

The Aerial Heart is available in only one size, designed to be the right size for most users and good for doubles!

HOW DO I RIG THIS AERIAL HOOP?

You will need to choke a Polyester Strop (Round Sling, Span Set) or Prodigy PolySafe Rope from the top of each bump of the Heart. Either of these is essential to hang your Heart. If you are using the Aerial Heart bare (without tape), you will need to put tape at the point where you choke the strop.

In some scenarios, Prodigy Aerial Slings – 18mm may work well. For instance, for a performance with rigging which is less visible to the audience.

You can rig the points vertically, with each strop/rope connected to the anchor point by a carabiner. We recommend this method if you do not want the hoop to rotate and want to stay facing your audience.

Carabiners we recommend using are Prodigy SG21 Screw Gate Carabiners, Prodigy AL21 Double-Action Carabiners, or Prodigy AL22 Triple-Action Carabiners.

You can rig the points diagonally to a central point, with each strop/rope connected to a Prodigy 3 Toe Aerial Rigging Plate by a carabiner. Then connect the top of the rigging plate to a swivel with another carabiner. Finally, connect the swivel to your anchor point with another carabiner. We recommend this method if you do want the hoop to rotate.

Swivels we recommend using are the Prodigy Aerial Swivel – Small Round or the Prodigy Aerial Swivel – Large Round.

DO I NEED ANYTHING ELSE?

A safe rigging point to attach to is essential.

Aside from a rigging point, there are optional accessories and essential rigging gear. What you need for each type of Aerial Hoop varies. If you have any questions, we are happy to help.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

From the lowest central point at the top to the sit bar at the bottom, the internal diameter is approx. 95cm.

The sit bar on the bottom is approx. 35cm across, and the widest point inside the Aerial Heart is approx. 118cm.

Made from 1” diameter 10G tubing, 25.4mm with a 3.2mm wall. TIG-welded with mild steel filler rod, root and then cap welds done on the top and bottom joining welds. The top weld has a solid mild steel insert to back the weld.

Powder-coated with a Sparkly Red finish. It looks great, protects the steel, and is easy to wipe clean. Ready to use with or without tape.
