The first trick you will learn with the flower sticks

Because the foundation of this style is to keep the baton in the air between the two hand sticks, the first trick you will learn is the Tic-Toc. This involves passing the baton from one stick to the other while staying upright. You have to go fairly quick so that it doesn’t slip while also learning how to cushion the baton upon catching it and then tossing it back up.
